Just received 2 broken chips in a plain envelope. While making the insurance claim the clerk told me that if an envelope is more than 1/4 inch thick it can't go through the sorter and must be hand sorted. Wrapping the chip then putting it in a padded mailer protects it and makes it too thick for the machine, giving it a much better chance of surviving. PLEASE take the time to do it right.
