Recently we reported that the Luxor hotel and casino was about to undergo renovations in all its F&B outlets which would create opportunity for improved venues to bring more traffic to the quiet property. Now the Eye has learned that the transformation is going property-wide and that everything ‘Egyptian’ is getting the boot– pharaoh, pillars, roof, and carpet. Confirming our take on the new venues, an extremely well-placed source tells us that a hip, upscale dining outlet titled ‘Aspen 702’ is slated for one of the pyramid’s new hot spots.
