I'm almost back to normal with everything going on including one of the most exciting playoff runs in a long time. We got through the memorial service for my grandmother, kicking off a huge project and the renovations to my home (and a trip to LV in the middle of it all... but that's another story). Thanks to Gene and Wayne for helping me out and showing me the Palms.

Being based in Edmonton, born here, growing up with Gretzky, Messier, Kurri, Coffey, Anderson, Lowe, Huddy, MacT, Fuhr and all the rest and having worked for the team in the early 90's you can probably guess who I cheer for.

So once game 7 is over, I'll be back to chipping for the next couple of weeks before I go to Hawaii for a couple of weeks.

So if there are any 'Canes fans in the club and on the board, good luck to you tonight - you'll need it!

One last note... the Silver Slipper in Edmonton may be no more. They have released no information regarding the casino and it's only a month away and I talked to the poker manager that looked after it last year and they have not awarded a contract for this year. If they do, it will be slots and poker only - no table games.

I'll keep everyone posted on the outcome and if there are new chips, I will have lots to trade!
