After only 5 years of reading and posting on the board, I have finally applied for membership in the CC>CC! I know some have assumed I have been a member, but I have always honestly told those who inquired that I was not. My reasons were simply that I knew I could not partake in club activities (given my work and family priorities) and money was a bit tight. I have changed my mind, though, and, thanks in part to some weak poker players , sent in my application.

I did have a strange occurrence on the payment though. When I submitted my payment, I was sent to a page that said the page could not be displayed. I sent Ralph an e-mail to make sure my payment was actually submitted, so I'm sure it will all work out.

It's nice to finally become a member! Still won't be able to make it to the convention this year, though. Oh well, can't have it all!

Thanks to Charles, Archie and anyone else who suggested I join the club, and to all of the great people on this board, who made it tough not to!
