This is true. There is another massive group buy undertaking current at ChipTalk. In this one Bellagio Tournament poker chips are being reproduced by SunFly in China. They are being touted as 'Bellagio Tournament Tribute' chips.

The only difference between them and the original is that these chips will carry a 'T' for 'Tournament' rather than a 'B' for 'Bellagio'.

The other interesting fact regarding these chips is that the Chinese ceramic chip manufacturer SunFly is willing to manufacturer them so cheaply. They are expected to cost less than .28 cents per chip, which is making this a VERY popular group buy effort and many thousands of these chips are expeced to be made/sold.

This effort is not from Roland. PalmImports is handling this group buy effort.
