While still in the military, I was once again making the rounds getting ready to go on another deployment and was in my usual grumbly mood for having to be gone again.

I stopped by the bank to get some funds to take along, and it being in the middle of the day, it was quite empty, with all the tellers being female. The one I happend to get was in training and had a coworker montering her ever mood.

As I was rambling on about this and that, she said that she thought that she might know me from somewhere else.

She then asked me a series of questions to confirm the fact, all of which I answered no to.

Finally, she asked: "Well, do I look familiar to you?"

I just could not resist . . . .

I took a step back, looked at her this way

and that way,

and then finally, in a voice somewhat too loud as everyone else in the bank, having nothing to do, was by this time, following the conversation word for word,

I picked up my money,

Gave her once last glance,

and said as I was leaving

Are you ready?

Are you really ready?

Ok, but I warn you in advance

...

......

...........

"I do not know, but maybe if you took your clothes off, I might recognize you!"

I know that I will get my just due one of these days!
