I am here in Oklahoma at Cherokee Casino playing in Scotty Nguyen's poker tournaments. This morning was the first open tournament with $300 buy-in. There were 242 players and they paid the top 27 places and I actually finished 26th! The evening tournament started before I was finished with the morning tournament so this was the only one I got to play in. I only won $390. After we got down to 26 players, I got in a pot with another player. I had pocket JJ and we were about even in stacks. He and I were in for about 1/2 of our chips preflop. Flop came 9-8-3 and he checked, I put rest of it all-in after the flop. After several moments, he called off all of his chips with Ace-King (nothing). Next card was Ace on the turn and that was all she wrote. That's poker I guess!
