The good news is that web browsing for the CollectionLibrary sites is now back up and running.
The bad news is our production web/database server is still not working as it should. As a result we are actually running off of a "hot spare" computer/server that we have on-hand for just this situation.
Every night all of the data and chip scans are mirrored to this hot spare server. Plus I updated the hotspare server with all the updates that took place since our last backup. As a result, there should be no data loss whatsoever for our Collection Library users.
For now I have only turned on the web site for browsing and HAVE NOT turned on the Admin Utility piece of the Collection Library. As a result, our users will not be able to add new entries or update their trade lists for another day or two.
Once we get the production system back up and running, then we will flip back to that server and then we will open up the admin utility again. If it does not appear we can get the production server back up and running over the next day or two, we will then just use our backup system as the "live" system for a couple weeks and then will open up the admin utility at that time. I don't want to go down that road until we learn more about what is wrong with our production system.
I am going out-of-town this tomorrow night so I hope to have something figured out by then. (Going to play in some tournaments at the "Scotty Nguyen Poker Challenge II" in Cherokee Casino in Tulsa).
Thanks for your patience! I appreciate it.
Brian
