We have extended the deadline for "advance" chip orders by one week. The new deadline is Sunday, June 18th. After that deadline, "bulk" chip orders will no longer be available and the chip set price will go up to $18.
In order to have the chips produced in time for BARGE, we need to allow for the lead times at CHIPCO. We will be placing our order during the week of June 18th. When we order the chips, we allow for some number of "extra" sets for those of you who want the chip sets, but have missed out on the advance order period. This includes sales of sets at (and after) BARGE.
The number of extra sets is tied to the number of advance orders. This year, we have significantly fewer orders than in past years, so it is possible that there won't be enough sets for those of you who wait until BARGE to decide to purchase the 2006 set.
The only way to insure you will get your commemorative chips is to place your order *now*, before the end of the advance sales period.

The BARGE Chip Committee thanks those of you have already ordered and sent in your check. To lock in the special advance sales price of $15 per set, you must have your check postmarked by no later than June 19th.
If you haven't ordered because you don't know if you will be attending BARGE this year, we suggest that you pay the postage charge to have your chips mailed. If you *do* attend, this postage will be refunded.
In reviewing the current sales, it appears that several of the "usual suspects" who have ordered chips in the past have not yet gotten around to placing their order for this year's set. We hope this gentle reminder will stir you to action.
