As an Officer of Boston Lodge Elks #10 & along with 5 other officers from other Metro Boston Elks Lodges we went to Shea Stadium in NY one day that summer when the Mets were playing the Cubs & presented Rick Monday an award for saving our Flag at that game. I have carried this picture in my wallet for 30 years now & am proud to show it to anyone who wants to listen & to some of those who don't. It was one hell of a day for me & one I will not forget. Thanks for bringing it up here on the Chipboard as all should know what that young professional ballplayer did that day. Again, I am proud that I got to say thanks to him.
PS: Check that handsome guy to the right of Mr. Monday with the dark hair. WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO
