After doing a little research from the archives, it appears that the $5 chip was the only one that was actually used in a casino. Not only in MA, but in FL as well. That makes sense because a lot of day cruise boats would move from up north to down south for part of the year.
Someone was selling a bunch of them a few years back, but did not have any of the $5 chips and was led to believe that they did not exist. He had several other denominations though. He offered them on the board for $1.25 each, minimum order of 100.
