I'm sorry to say that the Texan deck is a repro deck from 1984. Here's what "The Hochman Encyclopedia of American Playing Cards" says:

1984. In 1984, Philip Morris produced a set that included two decks of Texan #45 cards and a booklet on Poker packaged in a imitation leather slipcase. The Ace and Joker used bore no resemblance to the original cards but the R&M Printing Co. name was used on the Ace and the cards themselves are excellent reproductions of the original cards. The lone star back was used for these decks.

The first Ace below is a USPC (Canada) version and the second is the Marlboro repro.
