In 1955 Mr. Matteone ordered 100 $25 chips and "possibly a minimum of five hundred $5 chips" for the one 21 table at Matty's Tropics in Las Vegas.

A year or a few years later, Matty's moved across the state line to Stockton, CA, becoming Matty's Club. Matty's Club had a couple of poker tables, so they ordered hundreds of $1 and $5 chips from TR King, using the original "Matty" dies.
