you can choose from a number of good computers since your most likely dont need a printer and maybe upgrade to a flat panel monitor in the process. I have three HP's (Hewlett Packard) running at home on a network and have had no trouble at all in over three years with them. I recenty bought my daughter (who just got married) the following. You might look into it. You can upgrade a few items like going to media edition of XP, go from 80Gig HD to a 100Gig and add a burner and price will be under $800. You can make changes and see what price comes up. Goto: www.hp.com and search for desktop model SR1730T, Click on customise and add your changes to see new price. Good luck!
