I know there are a couple who watch this board who collect the higher denomination slot tokens. As you probably know, these are rapidly being discontinued, so if you like them, now is the time to add them to your collection.

I picked up a few extras last week, sorting out the best couple of tokens I could find out of a rack or two of each size. Here are the extras I have. If you need them, I can send along for face plus $2 a token.

Out of curiosity, I asked the cashier at MGM in the hi-limit area about obsolete token redemption. She stated that MGM has a policy to redeem every token they have ever used, even if a redemtpion notice has been published. I don't know if this will last forever but it is at least their current practice.

It's interesting that Hooters chose to produce tokens even though their slots are TITO. They will accept tokens as well. I asked, and the only answer was that some players still like to handle the tokens when they play.

All tokens are standard nickel alloy except for the $100's, which are silver rings around 10k gold.
