What I did and I have 1800 feedbacks was to require insurance on high dollar items and on smaller stuff I just sucked it up because stuff does happen. I had it take 2 months for a chip to get one state over where it was I don't know. But you can just chalk this up as a loss and refund the seller and if your not happy about it just tell them they are no longer welcomed to bid on your auctions.
