Kinda funny how things work out sometimes...my poker play had been quite poor over the past month or so and it was costing me plenty (OK...I'm cheap ). To save myself from myself, I withdrew all but $15 from my PokerStars account after last Wednesday's tourney.

With not enough $$$ in my account to play tonight, I told myself that the only way that I would play was to win enough to buy-in. I played in a $10 Sit-N-Go ($11 buy-in) and as tourney time approached there were 4 left at the table (pays 3). Immediately after the guy in 4th got knocked out, I went all in a couple of times with garbage to finish in the $$$. 3rd place paid $18, plus the $4 left over gave me $22...exactly what I needed to buy-in tonight !!!

That coupled with all those lucky river hands that gave me the win...it certainly was my lucky night. Steve B
