Don't blame you in the least for your sentiments. I would point out that 99% of the posts here are positive contributions to this community that Greg maintains for us. Thank You Mr. Susong!
One thing I think most of us here have as an attribute is lack of pretense. We're likely to put each others' posts into context with everything else the poster has given for consideration. For instance, perhaps someone, sometime has found value in one of my scribbles and is willing to wade through 100 idiotic Mtanker notes to find something coherent. Maybe not. Anyhoo, more than once I've saved myself by looking at what I was gonna put up here and asked if this post was a plus-type contribution to TheChipBoard... and hit "delete".
Sometimes strangers happen by with unpredictible results. Jim Follis may suggest that posts to the club site by newbies would get better results and be more appropriate over here and he's gotten more than one internet rocket up his hiney for his efforts. This "Miggie" person sounded like someone fun but has dissappeared since a post reply requested she use her name with future submissions. Sigh. Too bad, but it gets kind of hard trying to figure how to please folks that cannot be too good a fit to begin with.
On the other hand! Two guys that have happened along since I've been here, have handled a few arrows and potshots around here with considerable class. You could tell Von McKenzie and Aaron Peacock just "get it" from the begininning. We didn't drive these two worthies off with our antics... must not be doing too bad around here.
Give consideration and respect to the community and you'll find it in return. Don't forget that you can delete your stuff before you post too!
