This plea has been voiced countless times before. Unfortunately we are dealing with some mountainous egos that refuse to let go. I used to strenuously object to the senseless chest-pounding as injurious to our efforts to bring new people into the hobby. I identify those who I feel are not a credit to the hobby and don't spend a nanosecond reading anything they write. I wish there was a way to earmark those types of posts warning new comers to do the same.
