You told me in email that the reserve was set at $35,000. Yes thats right, a whacking $35,000.
The reason I asked you what the reserve was is not so I would know whether I wanted to bid, but so I would know whether to spend the half a day required to go through and work out the value.
As your answer did not come quick enough I did indeed spend the time. I placed my bid accordingly.
Now you say that you did not make the same error in the reserve second time round. So, by removing the zero, that makes $3,500. Both Jerry and myself bid at this level or higher.
Anyway, I fail to see how you would expect me to bid a higher $$ amount than the re-sale values on my site. Hardly sounds like good economics does it?

"But you Mr. Spragg, appear to be exactly the way you appear! In fact you remind me of a guy who once gave me blackjack lessons at the Las Vegas Hilton many years ago. You know the guy, the one sitting next to you, who won’t shut up, attempting to advise you on how to play each hand. Yes that guy! I remember him well, particularly this one. Who when I discovered was working in tandem with the dealer, I broke his big ugly nose. Just before I drug the dealer across the table, snatching his pretty gold Swiss watch from his arm, smashing it all to pieces on the floor."
Had you informed me at some point that you needed to sell your collection to cover your legal fees I might have been more generous
