I always assumed javalinas kept their dining taste to plants, but they will eat anything that does not eat them first. A case in point notice the rat tail hanging out of the javalina`s mouth. My sister had left a bucket half full of water the week before and came back to find 4 dead rats in the water. They threw the rats in the trees and the javalinas smelled lunch.
