Splash Bar Pictures of The Day will no longer be posted. My posting of funny, strange and odd people pictures was offending some people by the implication that the people attending the Splash Bar are themselves strange and/or odd. Personally speaking, I attend the Splash Bar, and I'm a bit strange and odd myself. But none-the-less, it was not my intent to drag the good name of Splash Bar or attendees through the mud.

I have received an enormous number of emails from people telling me that that they loved seeing the pictures each day. Some even stated that when the went onto the chipboard each day, the first thing they did was to eagerly search out my Splash Bar picture of the day. Thank you to everyone for all of the kind words and emails.

So after careful consideration, I have decided to continue posting odd, funny, strange and even bizarre pictures each day. However, I won't be associating them with the Splash Bar name. Any resemblance to chippers alive or deceased will be purely coincidental.

A number of people mentioned in their emails that they noticed my pictures would often times have other people posting pictures as a reply that were sometimes inappropriate, and would quite often display nudity or offensive material. Hence, those pictures were then associated with my posts and pictures. It is for this reason that I request that everyone please refrain from posting any odd pictures in response to mine.

Another topic that came up related to the pictures was that even though people loved seeing the pictures in the "Pic of The Day" posts, it was driving them crazy when they had to see these pictures on each and every one of my posts. Very good point, and one I hadn't considered. So from now on, I will only be placing the pictures with the "Odd Picture Of the Day" posts. The odd pictures will not be displayed with any of my other posts.

Lastly, for those that don't like to see these pictures in any way, shape or form, I say to you: Don't open my posts that have "Our Bizarre World: Odd Pic Of The Day". Simple as that. If you don't like them, don't look.

Once again, to anyone that I personally offended with the pictures and/or the association with the Splash Bar, I humbly apologize.
