I think you're right on the money Mark. Totally impossible. BUT...we can make a difference. If we educate one seller...it's worth it. If we can reducate one buyer it's worth it.
we'll never fix it all, but I think it's wrong to have the power to do something, and not try. I have been doing this when I see it for the past 3 yeras or so. I have emailed sellers and buyers alike. Sometimes I'm ignored, sometimes I'm emailed back with a thank you. I've had tons of times when I got an e,ail back from very happy bidders who just didn't know. I've had lots retract their bids. So, to me, that makes a difference.
Bottom line, is if I'm making a mistake on an auction, and someone in the know sees it, I'd LOVE them to email me a warning.
Then there's the sellers. If we can get some to describe the chips more honestly...that's a big win.
You're right, it'll never stop and it'll be come more serious. You're right; it's very sad.
