Rumor has it that a Hard Rock employee stole a bunch of the $100 tokens while they were being put in the machines.I know that when we cashed one in a few years ago because it was scratched the cage manager really asked alot of questions as to where we had got it even though We had been escorted by security from the machine it came from to the main cage. The security officer had to verify that we had been playing the machine before they would cash it in.
I don't know if they are still in circulation or not, but I doubt it.
