The Cannery's new 3,000-square-foot poker room opens Monday with 12 tables and six TVs. The room is nonsmoking, but there is a smoking lounge in the back. Players with 12 hours of action in May will receive a hat, those with 42 hours will get a jacket and those with 50 hours qualify for an upcoming Freeroll Tournament. The casino's new Race and Sports book also opens Monday and will be giving away free grand opening T-shirts. All race and sports bets now receive American Can Club points at a rate of 30 points for $1 race bet and 300 for a $1 sports bet.
