Inlaid Large Crown mold...TR King Co.

I posted a photo of an inlaid chip here a few days ago, and thought it looked like a USPC inlay. Dr. Myers also indicated that they were made at USPC. I was still curious and dropped a note to the TR King Co. to see if I could get any additional info. I really trust Dr. Myers' knowledge of chips, but their response leaves me puzzled. Here is the answer from TR king Co.......

Roy, The Large Crown chips began around 1939. T.R. King made the mold and was never produced by the U. S. Playing Card Co. T. R. King was once one of the premier inlay manufacturers from the 1950 thru 1975. We still make inlays today but not for Casinos. Our web site is www.trking.com
