I always thought this basic style of Inlaid monogram was made by the US Playing Card Co. That was until I got this one on the large crown mold. I would guess the inlay would be put in as the chip was being made. My question is, was this style, or for that matter, any type of monogram available for any manufacturer to use. Was there any patent or copywrite to the design of letter?
