I don't see where Dawn says she wrote the letter, but does say she found it on eBay. (although maybe she did write it? Ask her)
Funny how the Hooters employees are quick to jump in and defend, both here and with a question for the seller on eBay.
Me? I don't care. No dog in this hunt. I stopped collecting LEs before Greg started this BB, for the same reasons as a bunch of other people ignored them. Chips made to sell to collectors, not chips designed for casino play.
No big deal. In defense, LEs have probably brought in more new collectors and members than anything else. So it comes down to dancing with the Devil.
This is the same kind of strange evaporating chips that plagued Hard Rock and Four Queens, plus a few more casinos that somehow had chips issued that went straight into re-sellers hands.
If everyone had an equal shot at getting them, to keep or sell or whatever. It wouldn't be an issue. When the majority of chips are going to employees, before the public can get them, it's making Hooters look bad.
So for any employee who's defending back door and under the table deals, and crying a salty tear for Hooters. You are the cause of the problem and the reason why Hooters has it's name dragged through the mud. Not the people who are pointing out what's going on.
If you want to stand up for Hooters honor and integrity, stop hoarding and manipulating chip issues.
