Red Rock Resort & Casino opened their doors on Tuesday around 11:20pm. The exterior rock, water, and fire displays are very nice. The interior is also nicely decorated with the exception of the cocktail waitresses. Terrible outfits and not a head turner in the group. They do have the first Salt Lick BBQ joint outside of Texas. I went straight to the poker room where they were starting to fill tables. The chips were so new I had to pry them out of the racks. I brought back 15 $1 chips and 2 $5 chips. No tokens or $2.50 chips that I noticed. I played 2 rounds, won $44, and hit the door. The poker tables are just like the MGM with the built-in comp card scanners. The cards are Copaq instead of Kem. No wheels on the chairs. Nothing special about the poker room. Standard Station Casino bad beat bonuses.

When I get home I'll be mailing out chips to Ellen, Fred, Pam, and Larry. I've got a couple on ebay with auctions ending tomorrow. If anyone wants to trade just check out my Want Lists and make me an offer.
