Only problem with buying your own insurance is if you are uninsurable - like being a diebetic or hart problems to begin with - when you are a older worker it gets to costly -insurence companies are not any better the other corperations - after 38 years here I'm still here for the insurance which the corperation Agreed to pay in the last contrat - whether they continue to do it in the next one is a different story - If you work for a corperation a long time with the understanding of benifits and the that same corperation decides to cut you lose with no benifits for their older workers who made them a profit all those years they are no better then the oversea's factories. and if things get better for the corp. they do not offer what you gave up back to you - Just my thoughts
