Having a pretty good start to my week in Vegas. I arrived Thursday and flopped quad 8s at Mandalay Bay which paid a high hand bonus of $500. Then Friday I played at MGM in a $60 sit-and-go and won $200 for 2nd place. Today I visited the new Venetian poker room. Very nice -- even better than Wynn. They passed out Venetian Poker Room caps during the day. I entered a $125 sit-and-go and won the $550 first prize. In the process I was able to pocket these two beauties. Both show minimal wear. It looks like they only use 25, 100, and 500 NCV chips. They counter the 25 NCV at the break, so I wasn't able to take one. I asked the dealer, who I just tipped after winning, if I could buy one of the 25 NCV chips and he said no, so before as he started to count the 100 NCV and 500 NCV chips I headed out the door.
