I'd think that a vehicle built for $18k and selling for almost $60k would be capitalizing on a luxury vehicle market, rather than a reflection on overall manufacturing costs and market niches. I'd have to guess that it costs close to the same $18k to make a Cavalier in Flint or Detroit, or where ever they're made. If I remember right, GM lost $12 billion last year. If cutting costs any way possible to get to a break even point is corporate greed, I must be missing something.
Most so called foreign cars being sold in America are now being made in America by Americans. How did that happen? I know, and I think you do too.
