years and because I know the value and scarcity of a pack when its unopened, it drives away any desires I might have to see whats inside. Sometimes the value of the pack itself is far more valuable than what can be inside.
I have been out of the business for a while buy my estimates on the packs you mentioned are as follows:
1953 Topps 5 Cent - $7,000 - $10,000
1956 Topps 5 Cent - $3,000 - $4,000
Obviously condition is important as well as the series number. Also those prices are guesses based on if you can even find one that someone will sell. 1950's packs are much harder to find than chips and the few that remain are mostly tucked away in collections and rarely come up for sale at any price.
