Item description and details: The item up for auction in this listing is an interesting collection of Cuba casino Chips from the Artistica Gallega Casino. After the Castro revolution, the all Casinos were ransacked with machines, tables and equipment dragged into the streets and destroyed. Some Cubans took a few chips a souvenirs. This lot is interestingly framed by a merchant in Havana and sold some time ago. There are none available for sale now at retail shops as most chips have now left the island for the USA and Europe. I estimate that this was sold in Havana in the 1970's, or maybe 80's. It has an old price of 100.00 marked on the back. These are guaranteed to be genuine casino chips from the Batista era in Cuba (pre 1959) and are likely from the game of Roulette.
