Check your schedule for Mr. Lucky on Turner Classic Movies (TCM) sometime in the middle of the night. Made in 1943, it stars Cary Grant as Mr. Lucky, the owner of a gambling boat during WWII. Very relaxing to watch and full of amusing moments. Watch Grant deliver a classic line perfectly when the grand dame at a wartime charity realizes that Mr. Lucky wants to raise funds with casino games. "Why, that's gambling!!! she is horrified to discover. Grant's retort will put you on the floor. Great wartime pathos in this film also. Robert Eisenstadt turned me on to this gem and you won't be dissapointed if you are able to catch this one.
