Phil Jensen Plug Job?????

Received this chip today, one of my "Grail" type of deals so I'm pretty happy to have the little guy. One thing that really has me intriqued is the plugged hole in the chip. Is this a Phil Jensen plug? I've never seen one live, only a few pics. What I remember is that he attempted to sort of match the chip color with his plugs. Anyhoo, if someone familiar with Phil's style of work could offer an opinion, I'd sure be interested! grin If I make it to the Big Show at the Riv, Doug Saito will be able to tell me and I may even run into Phil his ownself!

For those of you who have recently found the hobby, let me run some Phil Jensen lore past you off the top of my head. ccgtcc Hall of Famer BTW. Mr. Jensen was one of the first chip collectors to start picking up these beasties as a collector's item about the mid '60's. Of course there were a few others but mostly they hadn't found each other yet. Phil used to plug some of his chips that were drilled. Nothing fancy about the plugs and they certainly weren't meant to decieve. I guess it just bothered Phil to see holes drilled in his chips. Later as the hobby started to form Phil's collection got stolen and then found again (there's a story also!) probably because of the notable plugged chips. Today Phil is a great resource due to his his encyclopedic recall of the many many joints that he visited in years past in his pursuit of casino chips. Names of joints and people, places, dates and what kind of action was occurring are the kind of help Phil brings to the hobby.
