I have sat and watched this charade play out. Everyone is entitled to their own opinion..It's the American Way. Thank God we can have a forum like this!!

I am just curious to see what kind of an organization NM-1 and NM-2 put together. I do not see a ton of people following. Simply put, if you think you are getting screwed well, so be it. You are entitled to that opinion.

Start another knock off club, go for it. You know you won't get to square one, "awesome website" or not. You will just make a fool of yourself and alienate even more people.

This is an incredible organization. It has taken the work of many to make it what it is today. Lots of countless hours of volunteer work by many just because they love the collecting field and the great friendships they have made. In the process they have developed a club that is almost like family.

This constant harangue about screwing the new members is just pure B*ll**it. Every organization has to do what it needs to do, this club is no different. After 10 years it is time for an increase in dues. Just because you didn't get signed up soon enough, live with the increase.

I do what I can do to help. Lynn and I volunteer for a few hours at the convention. I buy ads and just signed up for a full page ad for the next year in the magazine, not because anybody gives a rat's **s about my ashtray site but it supports the magazine. I send in stuff for the raffles. I donate to the Silverman thing too.I provide pics for the auction catalog. I send Allan Anderson pics for the magazine.

Funny thing is that I do not collect chips but I do have a major collection of Nevada Gaming Memoribilia. It is something I like to do and I am honored by the many friendships I have made.

This is a Club, it is a great organization of wonderful people who care about each other. I just wish you naysayers would become a part of it and quit this **tc*hing and complaining.

It really is wearing quite thin.
