When someone asks "can I do this or that", my response isn't generally a simple yeah or nay. First, I try and understand what is trying to be accomplished and then my response would be the best way (IMO) to accomplish what is really being asked.

I did not see what was asked of legal counsel nor did I see the full response but it -seems- to me that legal counsel is being used not to accomplish the task.

Of course, I'm probably wrong.
