I'm "the guy that said that LE's started with Maloof at the Fiesta". Sorry, I guess that I was wrong about that. Thanks for the correct info, Mike, about Gene being the man, not Maloof, even tho it looks like it started some heated words between you and him here on the board. Now I know why I got creamed on the board when I happened to mention shortly after the Palms opened that they were following in the footsteps of the 4 Queens and the Fiesta when they started flooding the market with LE's starting with all their GO chips.
I knew the connection of the Palms and Gene but did not know the connection of him with the 4 Queens and Fiesta.
