Its been a good ride.
This whole thing started in a ltttle office at the FQ's.
Rick Howe (casino mgr), John Liner (Bud Jones Salesman), and me.
We were looking for something to do on a slow day. I happen to have a Harrah's sail boat (to some the 1st commorative chip) I had just got it.
One of us said, how about we do a LE chip. It took off from there. We had the biggest mess in the pit you ever saw at the release.
We made a lot of mistakes along the way but after that 1st release we tried hard to get everyone that asked, a chip at face value.
It was a fun time. The 3 of us came up with ideas for chips, you would not believe. Fortunately we did not produce a lot of them but we had art made and a good laugh when we saw it.

You would be surprised how many club members started collecting FQ's LE's.
LE's are not for everyone but they do bring new collectors into the hobby.
