Gene,
What i am saying is that 10-15-20 years down the road if many of are members (especially members just finishing 3 years of membership) join as Life Members and there money has to go into a seperate account used only for providing benefits to Life members as set forth in the COnstitution, the cost of supplying those benefits is going to go up faster than the interest earned on that account and in order to service all the members the dues are going to have to continue to go up. The higher the ratio of non dues paying members the more the dues paying members will have to pay to keep the level of service up. I'm not against Life memberships per say, but I don't think its in the clubs long term interests to encourage people to take life memberships.
