You are so right!! LE chips have been going downhill in collectible status as well as in price in secondhand sales and auctions. The 4 Queens and the Palms especially have been blowing out these LE's like crazy for no reason other than stuffing there coffers. Other casinos in Las Vegas and Atlantic City have followed suit using us suckers for their $5, $7, $8, etc. worthless LE chips! George Maloof started doing this way back when he owned the Fiesta and put out hordes of sets of LE's and now he is doing the same at the Palms! It is getting like the USPS with the hordes of sets of commemorative stamps that they put out for THEIR suckers! If we chip collectors stop buying these worthless LE's and stick to collecting REAL casino chips maybe the casinos will find out that we are not the suckers that they think we are!
