I've never seen a drilled Ely chip Skip or heard of this particular Mustang ever being canceled. Looking at the condition of the chip, it would seem a "fixer" would have cleaned the piece to better hide his deceit, so I would be confident that it's just a dirty little table warrior. I don't have an guess at what would cause the dent.
