The Deep South Chip Collectors Club met for the first time since Katrina. We met at the convention Center along with the Mississippi Numismatic Assn on the 25th of March. There were 17 present for the meeting which went from 3:30 PM until 6:30 PM. 4 new members joined the Club. An auction following our meeting conducted by the MNA raised over $14,000 for Katrina relief on the Mississippi Coast. The next meeting of the club is 20 May 2006, location pending, looking at Greenville, Tunica, Natchez and New Orleans, more dates for the remainder of the year are 12 Aug and 4 Nov, location will be one of the previous mentioned locations.
