God willing he'll come back in fine shape, hoping for the best here.

Back in 2003 we were coming back from Vegas via CA-62 right past 29 Palms Marine Base. As we went through Joshua Springs we saw all the cars pulling off the road so we did too. In a minute or so a long line of about a dozen Marine busses came by filled with Marines who had just rotated back from the initial assault on Iraq. Everyone was crying and waving...one of the most moving experiences I've ever had. I'm choking up even now. My regards,
