Now here's a thought:
They've been on this building fund kick for YEARS. Since the club isn't ever going to own an actual building... Why don't they simply determine (take a couple of hours at most) what it would cost on an annual basis to lease and operate a space (there is probably enough cash to cover the build out if needed) and how much dues would have to be adjusted to cover it?
Present the proposal and dues increase to the membership and let them have an up or down vote on it.
What's the big deal?
