Allow me to offer a bit of a defense to Mark. I use a scooter, and if it weren't for that, I would be har pressed to get from show to restroom. That is by no mean a criticism of Jim(unless he actually designed the layout of the Riviera). For that matter I find that many casinos are not restroom friendly.
I don't think the crowded floor is the fault of the convention staff, it is a testament to the popularity of the convention. I am a big guy, and with the scooter, I find some mobility issues, but generally the walkways are large enough, space (and chairs) are provided to look and see, and there are places a person can go to be out of traffic.
The traffic does get big, blame it on the success. If I have trouble getting thru, I hong my little horn, and close my eyes, and hit the accelarator (seems to work fine).
