I have the database set up in a similar fashion. However, because of the vast number of chips, I have broken them down into individual collections. The collections also can be seen as a "total Collection" which is really just a merge of all of the individual collections.
The collections are all sub collections really of the main "Collection type. ie, Chips, vs tokens, slot cards, silver strikes, matches, etc. This way the casin o memorabilia collector can track all his/her misc areas, with individual collection within those colection types.
I also use City, State, Country, etc. The listing grid for each collection has different fleids shown, or not shown depending on what the specific collection is. For instance, I don't have the country displayed in the listing grid for my Nevada collection, or my Non-Nevada collection. "Country" is only displayed for the listing grid on the Foreign chip collection. The fields are always there and filled in, but just not taking up space in the listing grid.
