At the Rose Palace, May, 1969, Pasadena, CA. The Rose Palace is/was an all concrete building used to house Rose Parade floats (after the parade) for public display. The building is huge and very, very hollow! No seats, 'festival standing' and it was sea of humanity. The sound was deafening and as an 18-year old, I loved it!
