The first concert I ever went to was held at intermission for a wrestling match. The concert was put on by Bill Haley & The Comets. It was in between the main event held at Marigold Gardens in Chicago. The sponsers were Fourman Motors and Mohawk Carpets. The year 1956. The match -
Don and Jackie Fargo (The Fargo Brothers) vs. Killer Kowalski and Dick the Bruiser. The undercard or semi main event was The Shiek vs. Bearcat Wright. I was twelve years old and I'll never forget the concert or the matches.
